August was a great month at SkyHive. The team has been working hard day in and day out in pursuit of our mission. From Sean being selected for the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), an article in SHRM’s HR People + Strategy to a feature by Accenture, SkyHive has been very busy.
Sean Hinton, Founder & CEO of SkyHive, has been selected to represent Canada in the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), one of the most extensive collaborations on AI policy and the first international standard for AI.
GPAI is an international initiative created by France and Canada along with Australia, the European Union, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America to guide the responsible development and use of AI. With the objective to bridge the gap between theory and practice on AI policy, member countries will lend their support to cutting-edge research and practical implementation activities connected with AI priorities.

In a recent article by Accenture, SkyHive was highlighted as a technology they are using to help companies, governments, and communities build resilience and navigate workforce shifts by assessing skills in real-time, identifying future and emerging skills, and facilitating workforce reskilling.

Joining SkyHive in April 2019, Danish is currently working as an IT Support Engineer. He graduated from the University of Mumbia in India, with a specialization in Information Technology. For the past 5 years, Danish has been working in the fields of IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps.
In Danish’s spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and reading.
